Hermes Agent v0.22.3
Overview
v0.22.3 — the rollup. Released October 21, 2026. ~620 merged PRs · 2,911 non-merge commits · 4,206 changed files (+360,278 / −64,308) · 326 closed issues, measured at commit 5b147ab036d.
This tag does one job: take everything merged since v0.22.2 and publish it as a stable release for the CLI and installer, the Microsoft Store app, Docker and Hermes Cloud. It deliberately ships no curated release notes — those arrive with v0.23.0, which documents the whole window from v0.22.0 onward, highlights, feature areas and contributor credits included.
If you track the project by release page, this is the tag where the numbers are enormous and the prose is short. That is intentional, not an omission.

Why the tag exists
Release engineering on this project runs three lanes at once: a stable tag everyone can install, the date-stamped build artifacts, and the long-form notes. v0.22.3 is the first of those — the code everything else references. The same day, v0.22.4 followed six hours later with six small fixes and six new catalog entries.
Practical consequence: hermes update on October 21 moved CLI users across two releases at once, and the changelog you would expect to read for the first one does not exist yet.
Upgrade
- Microsoft Store app: updates through the Store.
- Desktop app installed from the installer (.exe / .dmg): no desktop bundle change in this release; it updates with the next bundled release.
- CLI:
hermes update, or re-run the installer one-liner. - Docker / Hermes Cloud:
nousresearch/hermes-agent:stable(or:latest).
